Sixty-one genes across chromosome 2 yielded at least one SNP with P-value <0.001, or at least two SNPs (with an r2 <0.8) with P-values <0.01, and were subjected to permutation testing. Twenty-three genes had an empirical P <0.05. Table II shows the genes that yielded empirical P-values <0.05 in permutation tests.
