Finally, bingeing at both 3 drinks (χ2 = 117.22, p <.001) and 5 drinks (χ2 = 69.92, p <.001) per occasion during pregnancy were significantly different across groups. Therefore, most measures of quantity and frequency of alcohol use are useful in to discriminating between FASD diagnostic groups and controls. Drinks per week and DDD are robust measures of combined quantity/frequency.
