Snx27fl/fl animals were crossed to DAT-Cre C57BL6 line (Zhuang et al., 2005), then Snx27fl/+-DAT-Cre+/− intercrossed to generate Snx27fl/fl-DAT-Cre+/− animals. Experimental animals and littermate controls were generated by crossing Snx27fl/fl-DAT-Cre+/− (SNX27DA KO) to Snx27fl/fl (conditional line). DAT-Cre+/− crossed to C57Bl/6J were maintained separately, and only Cre+/− animals (DAT-Cre+/−) were included in experiments.
