with an HR of 1.31, suggesting that carriers of the minor allele progress more quickly to tolerance. A regional plot of the 9q34.12 locus is shown in Figure S8. In an analysis conditioned on rs2304808, no residual genome‐wide significant signal remained, suggesting that there is only one independent signal in this locus. None of the top five SNPs replicated in an independent Australian twin family sample, nor did any SNPs located within RP1‐65P5.1, WT1, RCN1, or FUBP3. Meta‐analysis of the top five SNPs did not yield genome‐wide statistically significant signals.
