RNA Integrity Number (RIN) was determined by fractionating RNA samples on the 6000 Nano chip (Agilent Technologies) on the Agilent 4200 TapeStation. Samples with RIN > =5.5 were included in the sequencing set, resulting in 46 samples with RIN < 5.5 to be excluded from the study. An additional 18 samples were removed post sequencing due to sample genotype variant inconsistencies and low reads resulting in a final dataset of 606 samples.
