Table 6 also offers data regarding the regression analyses for the offspring. Once again, the change in R2 from Step 1 to Step 2 was significant for each hierarchical regression analysis, except for the trend (p = 0.057) for offspring prospective prediction for the number of AUD criteria endorsed. In Step 2 for the cross-sectional predictions, the only SRE score to contribute significantly to both the prediction of maximum drinks and the number of alcohol problems was SRE-H. In Step 2 of the offspring’s prospective regression equations, only SRE-3 contributed significantly and did so for both maximum drinks and alcohol problems.
