There were no significant main effects of sex or treatment or interaction between sex and treatment on stereological measurement of neuronal or glial number in the core, shell or combined core and shell of the NAC. Estimated cell counts (± SEM) of neurons and glia in the NAC and Coefficients of Error (CE’s) are shown in Table 2.
