The EEG phenotype-genotype association results were replicated in a second EEG dataset; U.S. Caucasians recruited in Bethesda, MD: 104 women and 84 men. The mean (S.D.) ages of participants were; women: 43.2 (15.8) yrs; men: 40.8 (16.9) yrs. This EEG dataset has been fully described elsewhere [9]. The paradigm for EEG acquisition and analysis was the same as described above for the Plains Indians except that in the Bethesda sample data were recorded from gold-plated electrodes applied to 19 scalp sites identified in the International 10-20 System and at two mastoid sites, all with reference to balanced sternovertebral electrodes.
