Cell-type specific gene expression in the human and mouse brain was queried from brain RNA-Seq databases described in Zhang et al.29,30 and Bennett et al.31 and plotted using custom R scripts (see URLs). The mouse astrocytes-FACS and astrocytes-immunopanned in mouse were collapsed into a single astrocyte cell type.
