high alpha (2592 values per band). For low theta, associations with p-values< 3.2 × 10−4 met this criterion and for high alpha associations with p-values < 3.9 × 10−4 met this criterion (Table 2). Additionally, robust associations were also observed in high theta and low alpha frequencies with PRS threshold p < 0.001 in males (Supplemental Table S2, Supplemental Figure S3) but not in enough coherence pairs to meet our stringent selection criteria. No robust associations of PRS and EEG coherence were observed among females, regardless of age, frequency band, and PRS p-value threshold (Figure 2, bottom panel; Supplemental Table S3). Significant PRS × sex interactions were observed for the majority of the significant associations reported in males (Supplemental Table S4).
