N-cadherin is a marker of mesenchymal cells (Zeisberg and Neilson, 2009) and the epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) (Kalluri and Weinberg, 2009). This figure shows a strong correlation between N-cadherin protein levels and ssGSEA scores of the EMT hallmark (IC = 0.560, p < 4.8×10−7).
